Wil Stunkel, has over fourteen years of experience in areas of accounting, tax planning, payroll and financial literacy. Wil has extensive experience with private companies in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, construction, restaurants, professional services, non-profit organizations, home healthcare, and others. He has worked extensively with clients in structuring compensation for themselves as well as for clients’ employees to ensure the most efficient tax treatment. He specializes in working with small business owners to give them the attention and analysis they want while helping them increase their income.
Wil is the director of Holsinger’s Business Solutions (“HBS”) group, and brings the benefits of seeing and working with hundreds of different businesses to his clients to help them improve both their businesses as well as tailor tax strategies for them. He seeks to help clients get their accounting services essentially for free by helping them streamline their operational expenses and through tax strategies that provide ongoing, annual savings.
Prior to joining Holsinger, Wil was the President of Stunkel Tax & Accounting PC were he helped clients save over $800,000 in various expenses and taxes in an eight year time period. Prior to his time running his solo practice, Wil spent a combined six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a regional accounting firm where he helped to manage tax and small business engagements as well as oversaw trust and fiduciary return preparation as part of a private wealth management group.

Wil is an active member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) as part of the CPA Voice committee where he is extensively involved in presenting financial literacy to groups such as Girl Scout Troops and churches.
Wil resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, Lara, and three children, Gimbo, Lucas, and Maggie.
