Audit staff responsibilities include the preparation and maintenance of client financial reports, examining the financial client document support information, deriving conclusions based on the reports and making necessary recommendations. Evaluation and analysis of client financial data and verification of general ledger entries are some of the basic functions.
Tax Staff will be required to complete certain individual, business, and trust tax returns and assist other staff with the preparation of various tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
A Senior Audit Accountant works under the general direction of an Audit Manager. Responsibilities include the direction of audit field work, assignment of detail work to staff, review of their working papers, preparation of financial statements, and suggesting improvements to internal controls. A Senior Audit Accountant is also responsible for entry level staff and intern development (technically and professionally through the supervision and review), management of assigned projects, and certain client communication.
The Holsinger Business Services (HBS) Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing staff perform daily accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial data and compliance for a number of external clients being serviced. Such tasks include accounts payable and receivable, payroll, daily financial entries, review of certain reconciliations, monthly financial reporting and general ledger entries.
